There are many reasons to think about saving your family memories.  The photos we see of our great great grandparents all show where we came from.  They won’t tell you where you are going but the stories of our ancestors make for great reading.

Those family stories get told and retold many times!  But can we really believe all these ‘stories’?  I am sure they have been embellished many times over the years, but they are YOUR family stories.  This is really what the Save Your Photo Day is all about – saving your heritage from deterriating beyond recognition.  Also it is so important to WRITE  down what you know about those family members, great time to interview Grandma and Grandpa about their life and times.

There are easy ways to save your photos without breaking the bank.  There are different kinds of software available to purchase.  You just need to check them out to see exactly what they do, how easy or how difficult to learn.

Think about attending our Save Your Photos event on September 10, 2016.  It starts at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.  We have a few local vendors who will be there to showcase their businesses.  Bring up to 50 photos that you want to have scanned and we will transfer them to a thumb drive.

This is the 3rd Annual National Save Your Photos and we are participating along with many people all over the country.  You can go to www.saveourphotos.org to find out more about this great organization.  There are blogs here concerning many ways to save your photos, and maybe the problems you might have.

I took the Pledge, will you?

Sue is a master at what she does! And she really cares about her projects because they are Your life story! I would trust her with any and all family photos because I've seen her good work. Clean up your old photos, bring them to Sue and you will be amazed!
